Extracurriculars

Pineville Independent Extracurricular Programs

We are excited about the extracurricular opportunities that we are able to provide for our students!  See below for a short overview of some of our current extracurricular activities such as Odyssey of the Mind and BETA Club.
These activities allow Pineville students to enrich their education outside of the regular classroom, and we believe this is a necessary component of educating the whole child.  Please encourage your child to find an extracurricular activity that he or she enjoys!

The 2025-2026 Odyssey team

Odyssey of the Mind

Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program and competition where students from kindergarten through college work in teams to solve open-ended, creative problems. We are happy to announce that for several years in a row, our teams have made it into the State and World Finals!

Many of our student participate in our Beta club each year! Students participate in community service, academic projects, and so much more.

The Beta Club is one of the largest academic, leadership, and service honor societies for students in grades 4-12 across the United States.
To be in Beta Club, students must have a 3.5 GPA, be selected by teacher recommendation, and complete 50 community service hours each year.
